RDR is an union of farmers, aimed to build a straight relationship with end buyers, resurrecting the experience of an authentic coffee full of history and aromas behind. Our farmers united produce what’s best to be enjoyed. And everything is carefully handled by our coffee specialist, Mauro Benedetti.
Mauro carries the experience of over 40 years in tasting, grading and blending, being one of the best specialists of Brazil and the world! That means, we have a lot of baggage when we tell you our coffee is an unique experience! That’s why, we, as an union of farmers, chose Mauro to classify our best coffees.
We only work with coffees 85 points and above, always seeking the highest grade. From the mountains of Minas Gerais state, Brazil, where volcanic soil is a plus to the mountains where the soil is a little more acidic producing a little bit more citric coffee, throught the highlands of southeast Brazil, we – together – form the “crème de la crème” of what’s good in life. History
Our History comes from the best farms for coffee growing.
Our farms are strategically located in regions with ideal conditions for the production of the most flavorful and balanced Gourmet coffees in Brazil.
With an appropriate climate and altitudes above 800 meters above sea level, both locations are nationally recognized among the best in the country for growing coffee.
The coffees are produced in the best regions for planting specialty coffees: Alta Mogiana, Sul de Minas and Cerrado Mineiro. A special combination for the production of the tastiest and most balanced gourmet coffees in Brazil.
A story that begins with Rodrigo Dora’s ancestors’ love for coffee, passed on to the next generations. Hence his union with one of the greatest specialists in Brazil, the coffee industry was formed together with the innovative model of the partners gathered at RDR coffees.
RODRIGO’S ARRIVAL
The history of RDR COFFEES internationally begins with the return of Rodrigo Dora to Brazil in 2017, bringing with him a great desire to prosper in all family’s and partners’ businesses, with a special emphasis on coffee agribusiness.
MORE AND MORE PLOTS OF LAND
In a few years, Rodrigo bought more pieces of land and leased as many others, maintaining and in other cases starting the planting of coffee. It prospered quickly and expanded its production throughout the state of São Paulo. In the mid-2000s, the family continued to expand to the south of Minas Gerais and from 2020 onwards, it reached the north of Minas Gerais.
A NEW LOOK
In 2015, Rodrigo Dora decided to give a new and important direction to the family’s history, creating RDR COFFEES brand with the same love and tradition already present in his coffee farms. The company uses a delicate process to roast the beans produced on these farms in order to transform them into tasty and differentiated gourmet coffee.
